The agenda for the January 24 meeting of DCNR’s Conservation and Natural Resources Advisory Council includes presentations on the impact of the spotted lanternfly and DCNR’s special funds.
Sven-Erik Spichiger, the Entomology Program Manager for the Department of Agriculture will provide an overview of the threats posed by the spotted lanternfly in Pennsylvania.
Tom Ford, Director of DCNR’s Bureau of Recreation and Conservation will give a presentation on DCNR’s use of special funds to provide support to communities for local recreation and conservation projects. [The House Appropriations is scheduled to hold a hearing January 25 on DCNR and DEP’s use of special funds.]
DCNR Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn will provide her regular update on agency activities.
