DEP Northeast Regional Office Water Quality Specialist Supervisor Michelle Nesbitt recently spoke to a group of elementary students about the work of DEP and protecting the environment.
The students attend Wyoming Valley Presbyterian Church’s after-school program “In the Center of the Village” in Wilkes-Barre, which teaches students how to be good citizens. Nesbitt spoke to students about the importance of recycling, protect the earth and water and being good stewards of the environment.
