The PA Association of Environmental Educators are now accepting registrations for its 2015 annual conference to be held March 12-15 at the Lake Raystown Resource Conference Center in Huntingdon County.
This year’s conference theme is “Connections - Building Connections Between The Environment And Those Around Us.”
The conference provides workshops and experiences by people who strive to build connections every day. The workshops fit under four areas:
-- Teaching Methods - how do we use teaching methods to make the best connections?
-- Model programs - what programs exist to serve as effective models we can use in our own work setting?
-- Environment - what environmental issues exist and how to connect people to these issues and approaches to the issues?
-- End goals - how do we effectively achieve our end goals such as stewardship and sustainability as we educate?
