The Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee will host an Environmental Issues Forum on February 2 featuring a presentation by the MKB Company, the State College-based producer of an organic compost-filled erosion control system.
James Carlin, MKB Company, will discuss the company’s history and how compost-filled mesh filters are changing the way runoff and soil erosion are mitigated in Pennsylvania’s oil and natural gas operations.
The Forum will be held in Room 8E-A East Wing of the Capitol Building starting at noon.
March 2 Forum
The Committee will also hold an Environmental Issues Forum on March 2 and will feature remarks by Brian Wagner, President of the PA Council of Trout Unlimited.
