Brown has served as Acting Executive Director since March 2025, leading the association through a period of transition and growth.
With more than 17 years working in conservation, nonprofit management, and partnership development, she brings a deep commitment to advancing PACD’s mission of supporting Pennsylvania’s 66 county conservation districts.
“PACD plays a vital role in supporting Pennsylvania’s 66 conservation districts,” said Brown. “I am honored to continue working alongside our dedicated conservation districts and partners to strengthen conservation programs and deliver meaningful results for Pennsylvania’s natural resources.”
As Executive Director, she will oversee statewide programs, advocate for conservation districts, and focus on partnerships that enhance conservation district initiatives.
“Amy has proven to be a strong, steady leader with the vision and collaborative spirit needed to guide PACD into the future,” said Emil A. Bove, PACD President. “The Board is confident that her leadership will further strengthen conservation districts’ ability to serve their communities.”
