DEP Soliciting Bids To Plug 15 Orphan Conventional Gas Wells In Clinton County

On June 20, DEP posted a
notice on Bid Express soliciting bids to clean out and plug 15 orphan conventional gas wells in East Keating Township, Clinton County.  Bids due July 10.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 26.

The wells include: Helen Donnelly- 1A; Helen Donnelly 2A; Helen Donnelly 3A; Helen Donnelly 4A; FD & Mary Winner Broda 9; James M. Stimpson 1; Milton J Kelius 1; Stimpson BT251; James M Stimpson BT261; Kraut Kamp BT355; Kraut Kamp BT372; Kraut Kamp BT354; Kraut Kamp BT343; FD Winner BT224; and FD Winner 5. 

The bid solicitor contains this warning: "The Commonwealth may have to terminate your contract, grant, or purchase order with little or no warning if the federal government reduces or eliminates the funding available to pay federal program costs."
