This webinar is aimed at newer conservation district employees, agricultural conservation professionals, and individuals associated with the Agriculture Conservation Assistance Program or other conservation financial assistance programs.
CARAT — or Climate-smart Agriculture that is profitable, Regenerative, Actionable and Trustworthy — is a U.S. Department of Agriculture-funded project led by Penn State that offers Pennsylvania dairy producers financial and technical assistance to adopt climate-smart practices.
Many of these initiatives align with conservation practices supported by ACAP and other funding sources.
In this webinar, participants can learn more about the CARAT program, how Pennsylvania dairy farmers can participate, funding priorities, and how the program can work alongside ACAP and other funding sources to benefit Pennsylvania producers.
Penn State Extension offers this event at no charge, but registration by 11:45 p.m. Jan. 27 is required to receive the link to access the webinar.
A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within 10 business days after the live event. Participants can access the recording for six months from the event date.
