Natural Lands’ president, Oliver Bass, has been selected as part of Philadelphia Business Journal’s “Power 100” list of influential people in the region.
“Power can be defined in different ways: influence, respect, skill, effectiveness,” said Ryan Sharrow, editor-in-chief of Philadelphia Business Journal. “We are proud to present the annual Power 100 special publication. The 2021 group of leaders spans a variety of industries—from health care and higher education to tourism and hospitality—who are playing vital roles in helping to push the region forward.”
Philadelphia Business Journal’s editorial team considered not only those who hold powerful positions but also those who are helping to lead a path forward within their industries.
Other honorees across a broad range of business sectors include Madeline Bell, president and CEO of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Timothy Buckley, chairman and CEO of Vanguard Group, Anne Ewers, president and CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Amy Gutmann, president of the University of Pennsylvania, and Jeffrey Lurie, chairman and CEO of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Natural Lands has preserved more than 125,000 acres, including 43 nature preserves and one public garden totaling more than 23,000 acres.
