On November 25, the PA Resources Council board members announced they will match every donation dollar for dollar made to PRC on Giving Tuesday - December 1 up to $5,000.
“PRC envisions a Pennsylvania where nothing is wasted and since 1939 has focused its efforts on education, recycling, anti-litter campaigns and many other initiatives to protect the environment,” said PRC Board President Winnie Branton. “The average American creates approximately 4.4 pounds of waste each and every day. Luckily, Pennsylvanians can turn to PRC for waste reduction, reuse and recycling options that are accessible and feasible, even during a pandemic.”
“The Board is excited to offer this matching donation to allow our passionate supporters to double the amount – and impact – of their generosity,” said Branton. “Generosity is at the heart of the holiday season, and Giving Tuesday provides a meaningful way to join with others to strengthen our communities and change the world by supporting the work of organizations like PRC.”
