DEP Invites Groups To Submit Data For Stream Standard Reviews For 63 Class A Wild Trout Streams

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the June 16 PA Bulletin inviting groups and individuals to submit water quality and other information to help its review of water quality standards for 63 streams classified by the Fish and Boat Commission as Class A Wild Trout Streams.
The streams are located in Berks, Blair, Cambria, Carbon, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Dauphin, Elk, Forest, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Luzerne, Lycoming, McKean, Mifflin, Monroe, Northampton, Potter, Schuylkill, Snyder, Tioga, Venango and York counties.

Persons who have technical data concerning the water quality, instream habitat or biological condition of these stream sections are encouraged to make it available to the Department for consideration in the assessment. These assessments may lead to recommendations to the Board for redesignation.
Data should be submitted to Mark Brickner, Division of Water Quality, Bureau of Clean Water, P.O. Box 8774, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8774, or sent by email to: mbrickner@pa.gov.
