The U.S. Natural Resources Conservation Service-PA Office is hosting a meeting and workshop on the PA Chesapeake Bay Conservation Innovation Grant Program on May 18 at the NRCS State Office, 359 East Park Drive in Harrisburg from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.

The NRCS has $3 million in grants available for demonstration projects within Pennsylvania that stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches that will reduce nutrient loads to the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
As part of its Conservation Innovation Grants Program, NRCS is accepting proposals for competitive consideration of grant awards up to $500,000 per project, for projects between one and three years in duration.
Applications are due June 5, 2017.
The informational meeting will provide general information about the CIG program and application process and NRCS employees will be on hand to answer questions.
Following the meeting, a workshop will be held to provide specific information, feedback, and assistance.
