The Senate and House of Representatives Tuesday jointly announced they have launched an interactive website highlighting the state capitol.
“This new website is a valuable resource, filled with educational and historical knowledge for people of all ages,” said Sen. John R. Gordner (R-Columbia).
Web users can learn more about the history of the capitol building and the General Assembly. The Keystone Classroom includes sections such as “Teachers’ Tools” and “Kids Corner.”
Coming soon, the website will also have the capability to offer a virtual tour of the capitol and to allow people to schedule live tours of the building.
These pages, and other educational resources, can be found at www.pacapitol.com.
“I would encourage all teachers and anyone with an interest in Pennsylvania history to utilize this new tool to help bring Harrisburg to your home or classroom,” added Sen. Gordner.

Information on pending bills, committee meetings and legislative session days can still be found at the PA General Assembly website.
