The PA Chamber of Business and Industry will hold its annual Environmental Conference and Trade Show on April 13 at the Best Western Eden Resort in Lancaster.
The Conference will help attendees understand some of the most recent issues that have environmental professionals scrambling to stay on top of.
EPA's new Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements rule could affect 500,000 U.S. companies with requirements to document how the type of waste was determined and by whom, and to no longer allow exemptions from recordkeeping.
And under the Pennsylvania-specific Residual Waste regulations there are still gray areas on reporting requirements, exemptions, definitions of waste, Source Reduction Strategies and the applicability to various facilities. Companies of all sizes are looking for help and clarification.
The Pennsylvania Chamber presents the nuts and bolts of how to handle compliance for those new to environmental management and for seasoned professionals. The series of unique in-depth break out tracks with some of the foremost attorneys and field experts in the state offer a chance to really dissect the regulations—not only the WHAT but the WHY—to clear up confusion.
Speakers will provide updates on the latest compliance information, and discuss practical strategies to help environmental managers in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Visit more than 50 exhibitors offering an exciting array of advanced technology solutions, and network with more than 200 environmental professionals from across the state.
