Sen. Lisa Boscola (D-Lehigh) was appointed the new Minority Chair of the Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, succeeding the late Sen. Michael O'Pake (D-Berks).Sen. Boscola has served in the General Assembly since 1994, first elected to the House for two terms and then elected to the Senate.
She also serves as the Minority Chair of the Senate Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee and has been active on electric deregulation issues.
Sen. Boscola has served as a member of the Game and Fishers, Transportation, Judiciary and Banking and Insurance Committees.
