A one-hour documentary on the life of Maurice Goddard will air tonight on WITF-TV in Central PA at 8 p.m. and again on November 28 at noon. Maurice K. Goddard was a man who committed his life to the conservation and environmental concerns of Pennsylvania and the nation. His legacy includes numerous endeavors which helped shape Pennsylvania’s status as a national leader for environmental conservation, among them, a State Park within 25 miles of every Pennsylvanian.
The one hour documentary will follow the chronology of Goddard’s life touching on the various accomplishments and challenges he faced. A series of interviews with friends and colleagues tell Goddard’s story in conjunction with a narration connecting the historical context of his career. Click here to watch a trailer.
