Penn State Extension Hosts March 18 In-Person Seeds To Saplings Saving Streams Workshop In York County

The
Penn State Extension Watershed Steward Program will host a March 18 in-person Seeds To Saplings Saving Streams Workshop at the AleCraft Brewery in New Freedom, York County from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Join Jay Brenneman, Master Watershed Steward, as he discusses founding the Indian Rock Nursery, which supplies thousands of native trees and shrubs for riparian forest buffer projects across south-central Pennsylvania. 

Jay will share his experiences planting and caring for these trees alongside volunteers and partners, including Penn State Extension and the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay. 

Participants can also enjoy locally brewed beverages, take part in an environmental trivia game, and receive prizes and swag.
