With a little over a month of summer left, Pennsylvania’s legislators will soon be returning to Harrisburg for the fall session. Their agendas are filling up fast, and we need you to keep the sun shining bright on Pennsylvania solar policy!
Join the Pennsylvania Solar Center for a free action-oriented webinar that will offer tools, resources and activities that everyone can use to build support to pass this important clean energy bill.
We’ll be joined by Rep. Danielle Friel Otten, the prime sponsor of House Bill 1467, which would increase Pennsylvania’s renewable goals to 30% by 2030, enhance the solar carveout to 14% in-state solar, enable community solar, and expand opportunities for all solar markets.
We’ll also have staff from the Pennsylvania Solar Center provide information and tools for how to get involved.
Matt Mahoney, Director of Government Affairs, will provide an overview of the legislation; Sharon Pillar, Executive Director, will offer tips and tricks on writing a letter to the editor and contacting your legislator, and Amelia Eggan, Program Manager, will provide an overview of our PA SolarCorps and how you can participate to help map solar potential of communities!
