DEP Extends Current ESCGP-3 Oil & Gas Erosion Control General Permit Without Changes Thru Jan. 2025

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the August 12 PA Bulletin that it has extended the Erosion and Sediment Control Permit ESCGP-3 for Earth Disturbances related to Oil and Gas Development to January 6, 2025.

The Department said it is extending the availability of this permit to adequately complete preparation of the issuance of ESCGP-4.
