PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices/Opportunities To Comment

The following DEP notices were published in the
November 12 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

Land Recycling/Brownfield Cleanups

-- Lower Mount Bethel Energy Facility: DEP received Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with sodium hypochlorite (bleach) in Lower Mount Bethel Twp.,  Northampton County.  (PA Bulletin, Page 7032)


Air Quality Permits

-- Lower Mount Bethel Energy Facility: DEP notice inviting comments on its intent to issue Title V Air Quality Permit Renewal for this natural gas-fired electric generation facility in Lower Mount Bethel Twp., Northampton County.  (PA Bulletin, page 7013)

-- CNX Gas Company, LLC: DEP authorized Air Quality Permits for the construction of 5 natural gas processing units at the WFN-12 Well Pad in West Finley Twp., Washington County.  (PA Bulletin, page 7035)

-- United Refining Company: DEP issued a Title V Air Quality Permit for the refinery incorporating emission limits for SO2 in City of Warren, Warren County.  (PA Bulletin, Page 7036)

Chapter 105 Encroachment Permits

-- Renovo Energy Center LLC: DEP invites comments on an application received request to extend Chapter 105 permit expiring on December 31, 2022 to authorize stream and wetlands impacts for the installation of natural gas gathering lines in Noyes, Chapman and Leidy Townships, Clinton County.
