The PA Land Trust Association has reimagined the 2020 Environmental Advisory Council Network Conference on May 2-3 as a virtual conference.
The Conference is the training and networking event for those already engaged in or interested in establishing an Environmental Advisory Council in their municipality, as well as municipal officials and staff.
Registration for the EAC Network Conference includes 2 days of training, with plenty of time to network with peers from across the state.
To register or for more information, visit the Environmental Advisory Council Network Conference webpage. Questions should be directed to Carol Grayshaw, PALTA, by sending email to: cgrayshaw@conserveland.org.
What Is An EAC?
An Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is a group of 3-7 people, appointed by a municipality’s elected officials, that advises the elected officials, as well as the planning commission and park and recreation board, on the protection, conservation, management, promotion and use of natural resources within the municipality.
Visit the EAC Network website for more information on forming a Council.
Pennsylvania’s EAC Network is administered by the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association.
