The PA Parks and Forests Foundation will host a special online event April 29 - Mira Lloyd Dock: A Beautiful Crusade-- staring at 7:00 p.m. live on YouTube and Facebook.
The program salutes the nearly-forgotten leader in the field of forestry and botany-- Mira Lloyd Dock-- with the screening of a dynamic 30-minute WITF documentary about her lifetime of contributions to these fields.
Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion on the impact of Mira Lloyd Dock featuring--
-- Ellen Shultzabarger, PA State Forester
-- Craig Houghton, Forestry Faculty, Penn State Mont Alto
-- Kyle Shenk, PA State Director, The Conservation Fund
The panel will be moderated by Marci Mowery, President, PA Parks & Forests Foundation.
