DEP notified members of the Environmental Quality Board were notified late Monday afternoon the September 20 meeting of the Board has been canceled.
DEP also canceled the September 20 meeting of the Citizens Advisory Council for lack of a quorum on Monday.
Laura Edinger told EQB members in an email: In preparing for the September EQB meeting, DEP staff determined that further review of the chloride standard would be necessary. This additional review will not be able to be completed prior to tomorrow’s meeting.
For this reason, she said, the Proposed Triennial Review of Water Quality Standards Rulemaking will be moved to the October 18 Environmental Quality Board meeting.
