Applications currently are being accepted for Visitor Services internship positions at Grey Towers National Historic Site, Milford, Pike County. Applications are due June 15.
The internships will run from mid-August through the end of October. Additional internships for the Fall/Winter in the horticulture/landscape and museum/curatorial areas at Grey Towers will become available soon.
College students and recent grads who are interested in or majored in parks and recreation, history, natural resource conservation, forestry and related fields are encouraged to apply.
A partnership between the U.S. Forest Service and the Student Conservation Association provides a small weekly stipend, uniforms and housing on the historic estate (if available).
Education/Interpretation/Visitor Services Intern positions are 12-week internships from August through October for students to give tours and assist with educational and public programs and provide visitor services while improving skills in such areas as public speaking, communication, research and related programs.
Students of history, forestry, environmental, interpretive/recreation, or museum studies programs are sought.
