The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee is scheduled to meet on May 12 to consider House Bill 1099 (Maher-R-Allegheny) creating an independent counsel for the Environmental Quality Board (sponsor summary).
The bill is a House version of Senate Bill 307 (Yudichak-D-Luzerne) now in the Senate Appropriations Committee.
The meeting will be held in Room 205 Ryan Building starting at 9:00.
Rep. John Maher (R-Allegheny) is Majority Chair of the Committee and Rep. Greg Vitali (D-Delaware) is the Minority Chair.
