DEP Issues Final Water Quality Permits For The Eastern Gas Transmission and Storage Appalachian Reliability Natural Gas Pipeline Project In Armstrong, Greene and Westmoreland Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection published notices in the July 11 PA Bulletin announcing it has issued water quality permits for the Eastern Gas Transmission and Storage, Inc.
Appalachian Reliability Natural Gas Pipeline Project in Armstrong, Greene and Westmoreland counties.  (PA Bulletin, page 4216 - 4218)

The Reliability Project includes the--

-- TL-636 Natural Gas Transmission Line, Murraysville Borough, Westmoreland County;

-- JB Tonkin Compressor Station, Murraysville Borough, Westmoreland County;

-- Two existing contractor yards, Salem Twp., Westmoreland County;

-- Delmont Pipeline Metering & Regulating Facility, Salem Twp., Westmoreland County;

-- Crayne Compressor Station, Franklin & Morgan Twp., Greene County; and

-- Roaring Run Pipeline Metering & Regulating Facility, Kiskiminetas Twp., Armstrong County.

The permits and approvals include--

-- Section 401 Water Quality Certification (WQC6583225-001)

-- Chapter 105 Permit - Westmoreland County (E6583225-007)

-- Chapter 102 Permit - Westmoreland + Greene Counties (ESG836525001-00)

Any person aggrieved by this action may file an appeal in the appropriate legal forum, including the Environmental Hearing Board and/or federal court within 30 days of this notice.
