DEP Oil & Gas Advisory Board Meets March 13 To Hear Updates On Regulation Of Natural Gas Storage Areas, Chapter 78 Regs; Federal Well Plugging Program, Carbon Capture, Hydrogen Development

DEP’s
Oil and Gas Technical Advisory Board is scheduled to meet March 13 to hear updates on a variety of issues, including the regulation of natural gas storage areas and a progress report on the new federal Well Plugging Program.

Also on the agenda, is--

-- Update on new Chapter 78 drilling regulations

-- Carbon Capture and Storage/Hydrogen Development In PA  (Click Here for presentation)

-- Draft Post-Construction Stormwater Management Manual

-- Permitting considerations in areas with known acid rock geology

-- ESCGP-4 erosion and sedimentation general permit future plans

-- Form OG-71 - Discharge of stormwater from secondary containment

-- Update on draft Technical Guidance--

     -- Trenchless Pipeline Construction Alternatives Analysis

     -- ESCGP-3 erosion and sedimentation general permit Prioritized Review

     -- Integrated Contingency Plan
