Penn State Extension Spotted Lanternfly Public Meeting Nov. 19 In Philadelphia

Penn State Extension will hold another in its series of public meetings on the spotted lanternfly at Mt. Airy United Fellowship Church, 701 W. Johnston Street in Philadelphia starting from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The spotted lanternfly presents a significant threat to Pennsylvania agriculture, including the grape, tree-fruit, hardwood and nursery industries, which collectively are worth nearly $18 billion to the state's economy.
The public can do a great deal to stop the spread of this invasive insect. Learn how by attending this meeting.
For more information on this invasive species, quarantine areas, precautions to take visiting areas for sporting events and more, drop by the Penn State Extension Spotted Lanternfly and the Department of Agriculture’s Spotted Lanternfly webpages.
