Penn State Extension hosts a webinar on August 21 on Planning and Implementing A Municipal Leaf Compost Facility from Noon to 1:00.
This webinar will discuss the planning, design, and construction of a leaf composting program in State College Borough. Since it began operation, the area has responded to the dynamic needs and opportunities of community forest conditions.
The presenter, Alan Sam, has served as Environmental Coordinator and Arborist of State College Borough for nearly 30 years and is currently the Chair of Tree Pennsylvania. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and has held several offices in the Penn-Del Chapter.
