-- Today’s Violations: DEP: Son of deceased Burnham Gas Co. Inc. conventional well owner in Crawford County, Spring Twp. responded to abandon well violation saying “I have no experience in this field of work” to operate the 46 wells his father owned. DEP inspection report.
-- Today’s Violations: DEP inspected 2 more conventional wells on State Game Lands owned by the deceased Carol A. Morrison Baker in Venango County, Cranberry Twp. and found them abandoned. 43 abandoned wells found so far of 217 owned. DEP inspection report.
-- Today’s Violations: DEP found Oil & Gas MGMT Inc. took no action and in violation of 2023 order to cleanup spills at conventional well in Westmoreland County, Loyalhanna Twp. since Jan. 2022-- 1,545 days and counting. DEP inspection report.
