-- PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices/Opportunities To Comment - March 29 [PaEN]


Permits - Oil & Gas

-- MarkWest Liberty Midstream & Resources, LLC - 4.5 Mile 20-Inch Natural Gas Gathering Pipeline: DEP invites comments on a Chapter 105 permit for a pipeline project to be developed within a 100-foot right-of-way impacing North Branch Robinson Run and property containing part of the Montour Trail, an eligible historic district, located in North Fayette Twp., Allegheny County and Robinson Twp., Washington County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2535)   Read more here.

-- Rover Pipeline - Rover-Bulger Compressor Station, Harmon Creek Meter Station Expansion: DEP invites comments on a Section 401 Water Quality Certification for the proposed project located in Smith Township, Washington County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2565)   Read more here.

-- Kratos Mining, LLC - Kratos Site 1A Cryptocurrency Facility Natural Gas-Fired Power Generation.  DEP invites comments on an Air Quality Plan Approval for 15 natural gas-fired  engines for a data center to be located in West Keating Township, Clinton County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2519Read more here.

-- Tennessee Gas Pipeline - Compressor Station 219: DEP to hold May 7 hearing on Title V RACT 3 Permit for the facility located in Jefferson Township, Mercer County.   (PA Bulletin, page 2572Read more here.


-- The Susquehanna River Basin Commission published notice in the March 29 PA Bulletin the Executive Director gave his approval to or renewed 50 general water use permits in February for individual shale gas well drilling pads in Bradford, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Lycoming, Potter, Susquehanna and Tioga counties.  Read more here.

So far in 2025, SRBC issued or renewed 84 general water use permits for shale gas development.

-- The Susquehanna River Basin Commission published notice in the March 29 PA Bulletin it took action on several items at its March business meeting, including approving an into-basin transfer general permit and water withdrawal requests, including six for shale gas development.  Read more here.

-- Department of Agriculture published notice in the March 29 PA Bulletin it is accepting applications from Philadelphia County for Agriculture Conservation Assistance Grants. The deadline to apply is May 2.  Read more here.

-- DEP published notice in the March 29 PA Bulletin announcing the award of Act 101 Section 901 Household Hazardous Waste/Small Business collection event grants to Carbon, Luzerne and Pike counties.
