DEP To Hold Jan. 30 Hearing [Not Jan. 28] On Title V RACT 3 Air Quality Permit For Monroe Energy LLC Trainer Refinery In Delaware County

The Department of Environmental Protection published a notice correcting the hearing date for the Title V RACT 3 Air Quality Permit for the Monroe Energy LLC Trainer Refinery in Trainer Borough, Delaware County. The hearing will be held on January 30 NOT January 28. (PA Bulletin, page 144)

The hearing will be held at the Marcus Hook Community Center (Curt Weldon Community Center), 7 W Delaware Avenue in Marcus Hook, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Persons wishing to present testimony at the public hearing should register with Ms. Stephanie Berardi, Regional Communications Manager for DEP’s Southeast Region, at sberardi@pa.gov or 484-250-5808.

Speakers must pre-register in order to testify at the hearing. Registration to testify will close at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025.

The deadline for all public comments is February 7.
