Penn State Extension Dec. 12 Webinar - Cost-Benefit of Voluntary Carbon Projects: Online Tool Demo

The
Penn State Extension will host a December 12 webinar to demonstrate a web-based tool that helps forest landowners evaluate carbon payments, analyze harvest strategies and make informed decisions for sustainable forestry starting at 3:00 p.m.

Explore how forest landowners can conduct a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis of adjusting harvest strategies by quantifying changes in both merchantable timber and biogenic carbon using straightforward forest stand metrics.

Additionally, it provides valuable estimates of potential costs and payments for participating in voluntary carbon projects, empowering landowners to make strategic, environmentally and economically sound decisions for their forests.

Join us to learn how this tool can guide your carbon project participation.
