FracTracker Alliance Now Accepting Nominations For 2023 Community Sentinel Award

The
FracTracker Alliance is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Community Sentinel Award for Environmental Stewardship.  Nominations are due October 6.

The Community Sentinel Award honors grassroots environmental activists from across the United States for their significant efforts to protect communities from the harms of the fossil fuel industry.

Each Community Sentinel Award recipient receives $1,000 and is recognized at the annual awards ceremony.

Who Are We Seeking to Nominate?

-- We seek nominees from all walks of life and are particularly interested in nominees from communities who have been disproportionately affected by fossil fuel extraction.

-- Youth advocates and leaders who are making an impact.

-- Artists who are engaged in direct action and protest within the movement.

-- We also welcome our partners and community members to submit the names of activists who have passed away over the last year, so that we may honor their lives and their work during the Legacy of Heroes presentation during the awards ceremony.
