PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices/Opportunities To Comment - June 24

The following DEP notices were published in the
June 24 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

Land Recycling/Brownfield Cleanups

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - VRGC Bra Well Pad 4HC: DEP received Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with fracking fluid friction reducer for the facility located in Wilmot Twp., Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3372)

-- Coterra Energy, Inc. - D.Payne Well Pad 1: DEP received Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with compressor station oil for the facility located in Harford Twp., Susquehanna County. (PA Bulletin, page 3372)

-- National Fuel Gas Corp.- Henderson Well Wastewater Release: DEP approved the Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with aluminum, barium, boron, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, and zinc at the location in Worth Twp., Mercer County. (PA Bulletin, page 3373)


Air Quality Permits

-- ETC Northeast Field Services LLC - Northeast Field Services Facility: DEP invites comments on proposed Title V Air Quality Permit RACT III Plan for the facility located in New Sewickley Twp., Beaver County.  Hearing scheduled for July 25 at the DEP Southwest Regional Office.  (PA Bulletin, page 3352)

-- Hamilton Patriot LLC - Hamilton Patriot Electric Generating Plant: DEP invites comments on the renewal of the Title V Air Quality Permit for this natural gas-fired generation facility located in  Clinton Twp., Lycoming County. (PA Bulletin, page 3354)

-- Hamilton Patriot LLC - Hamilton Patriot Electric Generating Plant: DEP invites comments on the renewal of the Acid Rain Air Quality Permit for this natural gas-fired generation facility located in  Clinton Twp., Lycoming County. (PA Bulletin, page 3354)

-- Beaver Dam Energy, LLC - Beaver Dam Electric Generating Plant: DEP invites comments on State Only Air Quality Operating Permit for natural gas-fired facility located in Canton Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 3355)

-- NFG Midstream Trout Run LLC - Trout Run Mountain Compressor Station: DEP approved Air Quality Plan Approval for a variety of air pollution sources at the facility located in Lewis Twp., Lycoming County.   (PA Bulletin, page 3374)

--  Greylock Midstream, LLC - Cumberland Henderson Compressor Station: DEP approved an Air Quality Plan Approval for a variety of air pollution sources at the facility located in Cumberland Twp., Greene County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3374)

-- EQM Gathering OPCO, LLC - Mako Compressor Station: DEP approved Air Quality Plan Approval for a variety of air pollution sources at natural gas pipeline gathering facilities located in Amwell Twp., Washington County.   (PA Bulletin, page 3374)

-- Columbia Gas Transmission: DEP approved Air Quality Plan Approval for replacement of two compressor engines for the facility located in Mann Twp., Bedford County.   (PA Bulletin, page 3374)

-- Alpaca Energy, LLC - Electric Generation Facility: DEP issued a State Only Air Quality Permit for the natural gas-fired power plant located in Canton Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 3375)


Erosion & Sedimentation Permits

-- Chesapeake Appalachia, LLC: DEP approved a Chapter 102 permit for a project impacting Browns Creek and Cash Creek in Smithfield and Ulster Townships, Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3378)

-- Susquehanna Gathering Co. 1, LLC: DEP approved a Chapter 102 permit for a project impacting Tunkhannock Creek in Jackson Twp., Susquehanna County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3378)

-- UGI Texas Creek, LLC: DEP approved a Chapter 102 permit for a project impacting Left Branch Fourmile Run (High Quality) located in Elk and Gaines Townships, Tioga County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3378)

-- Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC: DEP approved a Chapter 102 permit for a project impacting Red Run in McIntyre Twp., Lycoming County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3378)
