PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices/Opportunities To Comment - June 17

The following DEP notices were published in the
June 17 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

-- MarkWest Liberty Midstream & Resources, LLC - Exposing Hunter and Greaves Steel Natural Gas Pipeline:  DEP invites comments on a Chapter 105 permit application for the project to expose 5,059 feet of the Greaves Pipeline and 1,350 feet of the Hunter Pipeline in anticipation of underground longwall coal mining that will result in multiple wetland, floodway and stream impacts in Donegal Twp., Washington County. -- EQT Corporation - Stattler Road Well Pad: DEP received a Notice Of Intent to remediation soil and groundwater contaminated with producing wastewater from holes in secondary site containment in Whiteley Twp., Greene County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3220)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia, LLC - Hopson BRA 1HC Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated by production wastewater in Asylum Twp., Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3253)

-- Energy Transfer Partners (Pipeline Company) - Gradyville Road/Valley Road Release Site: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of  soil and groundwater contaminated with unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel in Edgmont Twp., Delaware County.   (PA Bulletin, page 3253)

-- Coterra Energy, Inc. - W.Wright Well Pad 1: DEP disapproved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with hydraulic fracking fluid in Bridgewater Twp., Susquehanna County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3254)

-- Coterra Energy, Inc. - J. Hawk Well Pad 1: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with diesel-based drilling mud in Auburn Twp., Susquehanna County. (PA Bulletin, page 3254)


Storage Tank Remediation

-- Marcus Hook Terminal: DEP received a Remedial Action Completion Report under the Storage Tank Act for a facility in Marcus Hook Borough, Delaware County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3267)


Waste Permits

-- Platinum Fluid Solutions, LLC - Kirby Produced Fluid Storage Facility: DEP received a revision to the WMGR123 General Permit for storage of oil and gas wastes updating name of company operating the facility in Whitely Twp., Greene County. (PA Bulletin, page 3220)


Air Quality Permits

-- Elkhorn Gas Processing, LLC - Kane Natural Gas Processing Plant: DEP invites comments on a State Only Air Quality Permit for the facility located in Wetmore Twp., McKean County. (PA Bulletin, page 3226)

-- Range Resources Appalachia, LLC - Laurel Hill Pad A: DEP issued Air Quality Plan Approval for a compressor engine, pipeline pigging and other air pollution sources located in Jackson Twp., Lycoming County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3256)

-- Williams Field Services Company - Shields Compressor Station: DEP issued Air Quality Plan Approval for the facility located in Dimock Twp., Susquehanna County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3256)

-- Coterra Energy, Inc. - J. Lauffler Pad 1: DEP issued Air Quality Plan Approval for a compressor engine, pigging operations and other air pollution sources for the facility located in Springville Twp., Susquehanna County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3256)

-- CNX Gas Company, LLC- MOR-40 Well Pad: DEP issued Air Quality Plan Approval for produced water storage tanks and other air pollution sources for the facility located in Richhill Twp., Greene County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3257)

-- Diversified Production, LLC - Bessie 8 Compressor Station: DEP issued Air Quality Plan Approval for the facilities located in Jackson Twp., Cambria County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3257)

-- Halliburton Energy Services - Natural Gas Drilling Materials Distribution Facility: DEP issued State-Only Air Quality Approval for the facility located in Clinton Twp., Lycoming County. (PA Bulletin, page 3259)
