The project is stabilizing streambanks and doing habitat restoration along the Little Shamokin Creek waterways and watershed area.
The site visit was hosted by Brad Barkdoll from WeConservePA along with representatives from the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy.
Attendees included local and state representatives from the Department of Environmental Protection, Fish and Boat Commission, watershed specialists from the Northumberland County Conservation District, Rep. Lynda Culver (R-Northumberland), and Sen. John Gordner (R-Columbia).
