This free educational presentation will provide updates on the health of key tree species in our forests and landscapes.
Beth Brantley, Northeastern Technical Support Specialist with Bartlett Tree Experts, will discuss the impacts of climate change, cultural conditions, insects, and pathogens along with management opportunities.
She will also share some of the tools in our toolbox to promote and maintain healthy conditions for trees. American beech, eastern hemlock and oaks will be featured.
Ms. Brantley has a PhD in Plant Pathology from Penn State University and a Masters in Forestry from Duke University. She taught forestry for over 20 years at Penn State's Mont Alto campus. She enjoys meeting new plants, people, and pathogens.
