Penn State Extension: Introduction To Forests, Carbon Sequestration & Markets April 21 & 28

Penn State Extension will host
An Introduction to Forests, Carbon Sequestration and Markets online program April 21 and 28 from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

The program offers an introduction to how forests store caron, carbon markets and opportunities for carbon programs in Pennsylvania.

Forest owners, forest stewards, land managers, and anyone interested in participating in carbon markets or a carbon program should attend this free program.

Society of American Foresters CFE Credits are available.

Forest Carbon Program

The Family Forest Carbon Program was created by the American Forest Foundation and The Nature Conservancy to let family forest landowners take advantage of carbon credits that pay them to implement sustainable forest practices.  Read more here.
