WeConservePA is now accepting proposals for presentations at the 2021 Greenways and Trails Summit to be held September 19-21 at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center. The deadline for proposals is March 15.
Taking inspiration from the host location, the theme this year is Blue, Green & Everything in Between: Connecting PA’s Land and Water Trails.
This bi-annual summit aims to inspire improvements and expansion to Pennsylvania's trail system, build peer networks, and celebrate successful projects connecting the public to land and water trails throughout the state.
Over the course of 3 days, the summit will offer dozens of educational sessions, 4-5 mobile seminars, keynote presentations, discussion panels, and various social and networking opportunities to our attendees.
Interested speakers are invited to submit proposals to present on a variety of topics, including: Trail Planning, Funding & Economic Development, Cultural & Historical Significance, Partnerships and Community Engagement, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and more.
Please note that while the 2021 Greenways and Trails Summit is planned to be held in person, potential presenters should consider how their presentation might be adapted to be presented online, should the summit have to be held virtually.
