The Lebanon Valley Conservancy will host a January 10 virtual program on Bog Turtles Conservation and Protection by The Nature Conservancy-PA’s George C. Gress starting at 4:00 p.m.
Bog turtles are the smallest turtles in Pennsylvania, are federally listed as threatened, and are protected under the Endangered Species Act. There has been much publicity about these secretive creatures and their wetland habitat, as well as some misconceptions.
Come along on a photo journey into the habitat and into the lives of these tiny turtles with George Gress, who has managed the TNC-PA Bog Turtle Program since 1997.
To R.S.V.P. and get instructions for joining the program, send an email to: lvconserve@lebanonvalleyconservancy.org.
