CANCELED: DEP Sets April 2 Hearing On Revaluation Of All Sources Of Air Pollution; The Installation Of Ethane Storage Tanks At Sunoco’s Natural Gas Liquids Facility In Delaware County

CANCELED Due To Coronavirus Concerns: The Department of Environmental Protection published notice of an April 2 hearing on two issues related to Sunoco’s natural gas liquids processing, storage and distribution operations facility in Marcus Hook Borough, Delaware County.
Reevaluation Of Air Pollution Sources
DEP will hold a hearing April 2 on its reevaluation of air pollution from all projects  at the facility as a single aggregated project, as ordered by the Environmental Hearing Board.  (Feb. 29 PA Bulletin page 1267)
DEP has determined the single aggregated project is not subject to Prevention of Significant Deterioration requirements.
DEP has determined the single aggregated project is subject to New Source Review requirements for nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds and the facility must comply with Lowest Achievable Emission Rate regulations.
The hearing will be held at the Marcus Hook Elementary School, 711 Market Street in Marcus Hook from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Public comments are due by April 12.

Ethane Storage Tank
DEP will hold a hearing April 2 on the proposed installation and operation of two new 600,000 barrel ethane storage tanks at the Marcus Hook Facility.  (Feb. 29 PA Bulletin page 1269)
The hearing will be held at the Marcus Hook Elementary School, 711 Market Street in Marcus Hook from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Public comments are due by March 29.
