Wildlife for Everyone Receives Centre Foundation Grant To Develop Youth Program At Tom Ridge Wetlands, Centre County

The Wildlife for Everyone Foundation received a Centre Foundation Field-of-Interest Grant to offer an educational program for youth in the Tom Ridge Wetlands in Centre County next year.
The focus of the program will be wetlands exploration. Youth will learn about the various ecosystems that exist through hands-on learning that includes various art expressions and stewardship projects.
There are 15 Field-of-Interest Funds available to nonprofit organizations and agencies through the Centre Foundation, each supporting a particular cause, program, population or geographic area.
The Wildlife for Everyone Foundation’s program was awarded funds from the        J. Alvin and Vera E. Knepper Hawbaker Memorial Fund that supports organizations that provide vital health and education services across Centre County.
According to the Centre Foundation, the program was selected because of its ability to create a positive impact in the Centre County community.
