The Penn State Technical Assistance Program will host a September 19 webinar on E3-Economy, Energy and Environment For Food Industries from Noon to 1:00 p.m.
PennTAP will review common pollution prevention measures available in the food processing industry. Using a mix of traditional pollution prevention tools and continuous improvement techniques, PennTAP will show you how to maximize savings, with a focus on food waste, packaging waste, solid waste, water, and energy.
PennTAP is available to assist a limited number of Pennsylvania facilities with continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and pollution prevention. The assessments are covered by a grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and are provided at no cost to you.
Visit the Penn State Technical Assistance Program website for information on assistance programs available for businesses.
