The Watershed Coalition of the Lehigh Valley will host the 8th Lehigh Valley Watershed Conference on October 15 at Lehigh University, STEPS Building, 1 West Packer Avenue in Bethlehem from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The theme is Navigating Clean Water Science.
The Conference will feature keynote speaker Ann English talking about multifunctional riparian buffers in her presentation-- Growing A Better Watershed, The Riparian Buffer At Happy Hollow Farm-- based on her family farm experience in York County.
Another all-day set of sessions will present exciting information on managing stormwater through the MS4 Program, invasive plants, But Is There Any Money?, citizen engagement, Got Trout?, Climate and Hazards in the Lehigh Valley and much more.
Continuing education credits are available for engineers and landscaping professionals.
