Apply Now For $2,000 Scholarship From Abandoned Mine Land Programs Assn

The National Association of Abandoned Mine Land Programs is now accepting applications for a $2,000 college scholarship to assist in the education of students who intend to work as scientists, engineers or technicians in the field of mine reclamation.
The deadline for applications is May 31.
Three scholarships will be awarded, one in the eastern, midwest and western regions of the United States.
The scholarship holders will be invited to attend the 2017 NAAMLP Annual Conference in Lexington, Kentucky from September 24 to 27.  Costs (travel, lodging, per diem up to a total of $1000) and Conference registration fees will be covered in addition to the scholarship. Scholarship recipients are expected to participate in all Conference activities.  
The scholarship may be used at any accredited institution of higher education. The NAAMLP Scholarship must be utilized during the 2017-2018 school year.
