The PA Resources Council is hosting a series of 9 Rain Barrel Watershops in Allegheny County during March, April and June.
Workshop participants will learn how to harvest rainwater from their roofs, store it, and use it in the landscape.
They also learn how to reduce their contribution to combined sewer overflow (CSO), flooding, and polluted urban runoff by learning how to practice watershed protection and conservation in their own backyards. It’s easier than you think!
Participants will also receive a FreeGarden RAIN 55-gallon rain barrel. Designed with the homeowner/gardener in mind, it is affordable, attractive, and easy to install.
