The PA Environmental Council, Keep PA Beautiful and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources are partnering to hold an Earth Day Tree Planting on April 21-22 in Pinchot State Forest on Avondale Hill Road, Plymouth Township in Luzerne County.
The goal is to plant over 7,000 seedlings in an open field to help create 10 acres of new forest.
Boots or sturdy shoes are required. Supplies and food will be provided. Planting will take place from 9:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. each day.
