The Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art in Delaware County is seeking an experienced conservation professional for its Land Conservation Program to provide land conservation planning services to private landowners with emphasis on conservation easements and land acquisitions. Resumes are due by January 23.
The Senior Planner is responsible for all aspects of land conservation via easements and fee acquisitions, including:
-- Landowner and community outreach, and preparation, negotiation, and closing of conservation easements;
-- Education of and liaison with real estate professionals, attorneys, developers, appraisers, governmental officials, landowners and the general public regarding land conservation options and practices;
-- Coordination with local, state, and federal agencies in joint land conservation efforts, including grant writing and administration; and
-- Assistance to other Conservancy programs and personnel in easement stewardship and other conservation matters.
