10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania will honor the Southeast PA Transportation Authority and the Philadelphia Water Department with its annual Commonwealth Award and Drexel University with its inaugural Joanne Denworth Founders Award for Institutional Excellence at a special awards program January 24 in Philadelphia.
SEPTA will receive the 10,000 Friends Community Transportation Excellence Award and the Philadelphia Water Department will receive the 10,000 Friends Public Infrastructure Excellence Award.
The year’s Award showcase the transformational impact institutions can have through creative public-private partnerships and strategic investment in placemaking projects that exemplify land use excellence.
The awards program will be held on January 24 at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
The Keynote Speaker will be John A. Fry, President, Drexel University.
