The Erie Community Foundation will hold its Erie Gives Day on August 9 from 8:00 to 8:00 p.m. to provide a single place for interested citizens to support nonprofit organizations in the region, including the Foundation for Sustainable Forests.
Your contribution on August 9 will help the Foundation for Sustainable Forests to further its mission through programs such as:
-- Outreach to woodland owners on conservation options and legacy planning;
-- Sustainable forestry education programs for youth and adults; and
-- Forest management outreach and consultations.
